TAFE NSW beat Australia's best
The TAFE NSW team overwhelmed their inter-state rivals by winning 47 medals at the 2006 National WorldSkills Competition in Melbourne.
The TAFE NSW team comprised of over 140 bright and talented young students who travelled down to Melbourne in order to compete for the coveted prize of excellence in Australian vocational training.
"These outstanding students battled it out over three days of intense competition to be the best in Australia in their skill and trade areas", TAFE NSW WorldSkills Manager Steve Hornery said.
"The have made NSW proud - and showcased to the rest of Ausralia the world-class vocational education that students can take advantage of through training at TAFE NSW".
