TAFE NSW offers international students many different paths to success. Credit transfers and diploma-to-degree arrangements are very popular with international students.

D2D Diploma to Degree Pathways program

This is the fast track option for international students who want to complete their studies within a shorter time frame from TAFE to full degree studies.

Application procedure for TAFE NSW and UWS or USQ

• Fill in two application forms - one for TAFE NSW and the other for your preferred university, UWS or USQ
• Return the completed application package to our International Students Centre
• Applications are assessed and two offer letters sent - one for TAFE NSW and the other for the preferred university

TAFE NSW and MQ or UTS

• Fill in a TAFE NSW application form and forward it to the International Students Centre
• Applications are assessed and offer letter sent for TAFE NSW
• Obtain a application form from your preferred university - MQ or UTS and then submit the application with a copy of the TAFE NSW letter to the university's international office

Studying English

TAFE NSW offers English language courses in the four core areas - reading, writing,
listening and speaking plus English grammar.

The programs include

• General English Certificate - beginner to intermediate level course
• Certificate 3 in English for TAFE - a course for intermediate level learners
• Advanced English - an upper intermediate to advanced level course
• IELTS Preparation - a course for those who wish to study at TAFE or university
• Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English : Courses enabling students to sit for the Cambridge examination
• TAFE NSW English language and vocational course package
• Students who opt for this package only need to apply for one student visa and all applications must be made to the International Students Centre (ISC).

Special offer for English course

Enrolments for 20 weeks or more will receive a minimum of two weeks tuition free of charge. There are also savings for enrolments totaling more than 20 weeks.

Conditions

• Free tuition is in the final weeks of a course and this only apply to English courses
• There are no refunds or transfers
• This offer only includes General English programs
• This offer lasts till 31 December 2006
